On May 16–17, in Moscow, as part of the Cake Artist World «Prestige» exhibition, the World Championship in Confectionery Art «The Eighth Wonder of the World» was held, with Petmol acting as a partner. The event brought together 300 of the best industry professionals from more than 40 countries, becoming a true celebration of creativity, skill, and inspiration. The championship guests were able to see real works of art: sugar flowers, art cakes, sculptures, works made of isomalt, and so on. Each work impressed with the level of execution and attention to detail.
As part of the exhibition, Petmol’s ambassadors held lectures and master classes.
Elena Shramko, a pastry chef and founder of the «Exclusive» Academy of Culinary Arts, as well as a Petmol ambassador, gave a lecture on working with cream and modern desserts, complete with a tasting session, which elicited a strong response from the guests.
Svetlana Shubina, a pastry chef and founder of the Zero Cake pastry school, held and judged the «Lambeth as Art» competition among professionals, the winner of which was Veronika Isaykina, a pastry chef from Mogilev. Svetlana also conducted a practical master class for the participants, including a tasting of iconic desserts in the author’s interpretation and in the PP version — «Nuts & Pavlova», prepared using Petmol cream.
