Cream of spinach soup


Ingredients
Fresh frozen spinach
500 g
Shallots or onions
100 g
Water
1,5 L
Garlic
15 g
Nutmeg
1
Salt, pepper
to taste
Sugar
to taste
Method of preparation
- Thaw the spinach. Chop the onion and garlic, and sauté in a pan with vegetable oil. Add the thawed spinach. Cook for 2 minutes, then add water and cream. Boil for 5 minutes.
- Add nutmeg, salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
- Blend the mixture in a blender. Then strain through a sieve.
- Serve in a deep bowl.
