Pepper steak in cream sauce


Ingredients
Beef (steak)
250 g
Vegetable oil
20 ml
Worcestershire sauce
10 ml
Green pepper

Potatoes

Port wine

Method of preparation
- Marinate the steak with vegetable oil and Worcestershire sauce.
- Sauté the potatoes in vegetable oil and keep them warm.
- Sear the steak for 1 minute on each side, wrap in foil, and let rest for 3 minutes.
- Coat the sides of the steak with crushed black pepper and sear again until desired doneness (do not pour out the juices from the foil).
- Pour port wine into the pan used to fry the steak, reduce slightly, then add cream, salt, and dried green peppercorns. Evaporate until thickened.
- Serve the steak with the potatoes and the resulting sauce.
